Your Aunt Lived There 40 YearsWhen Inheriting Property Means Inheriting
Someone's Entire Life Collection
You got the call. Your aunt passed and left you the house in Georgia. You live in Ohio and haven’t seen the place in maybe ten years. Now you’re the executor and the probate lawyer’s sending deadlines. The house has got to be cleared, appraised, and listed. Your court date’s in 90 days.
Problem is, you have no idea what’s even in there. Could be organized. Could be packed floor to ceiling. Could be valuable antiques mixed with broken junk. You’d need to fly down multiple weekends just to figure out where to start. Take time off work. Book hotels. Rent trucks. Make six trips hauling stuff to… where exactly? Donation centers you don’t know. Dumps you have to Google. All while dealing with grief and paperwork and your actual life back home.
Or maybe it’s not distance. Maybe it’s your parents’ house right here in Carroll County but you physically can’t do this work. Back injury. Recent surgery. Just turned 68 yourself. The thought of climbing attic stairs, moving furniture, and hauling boxes for days makes your body hurt before you even start. Your doctor told you no heavy lifting. So how are you supposed to clear a three-bedroom house by yourself?
Estate cleanouts aren’t regular junk removal. It’s someone’s entire existence compressed into rooms. Forty years of belongings. Fifty years of accumulation. Every drawer might have important documents. Every box might have valuables. You can’t just throw everything in a dumpster. But you also can’t spend six months deciding item by item when the title company needs closing next month.
We handle estate cleanouts throughout West Georgia. Whole houses. Garages. Sheds. Attics. Basements. U-Load if your family wants reduced cost and can handle the physical work. We-Load if you need professionals clearing it completely.

Why People Hire for Estate Cleanouts Rather Than Doing It Themselves
Out-of-State Executors — You’re managing probate from 400 miles away. Flying down for weekends, staying in hotels, trying to clear an entire house in 48-hour bursts. After three trips you’re bankrupt on time and money with 60% of the house still left. You need professionals who can finish in days what would take you months.
Health-Limited Heirs — You inherited the property but you’re 70 yourself with bad knees and recent hip surgery. Doctor’s orders: no lifting over 20 pounds. That house has furniture weighing hundreds of pounds and attic stairs you can’t climb. It’s physically impossible for you to clear this alone.
Working Professionals With No Time — You have a full-time job and kids in school. You can’t take weeks off to clear a house. At this pace you’ll finish next year while paying utilities on an empty house, property taxes, and insurance. Every month of delay costs you money.
Siblings Scattered Across States — Your brother’s in California, your sister’s in Florida. Nobody lives near the Georgia property. Coordinating everyone flying in the same weekend never works. The estate sale company won’t start until the house is cleared.
Overwhelmed by Volume — You stood in that house looking at 40 years of accumulation and couldn’t do it. Decision paralysis set in. You don’t know what’s valuable or what’s junk. You thought you could handle this but realized you absolutely cannot.
Property Sale Contingencies — You found a buyer but the sale is contingent on vacant possession in 30 days. The house is still completely full and the title company won’t delay. Every day you don’t clear costs you the sale.
Different reasons. Same impossible situation. Same need for professionals who can handle the volume.

What Complete House Cleanouts Costs
Estate cleanouts are priced by volume – based on how many loads it takes to cleanout the property.
U-Load Pricing:
Volume ranges from $120 per 1/4 load depending on how full it is. Your family does the physical loading work for a reduced cost.
We-Load Pricing:
Volume ranges from $180 per 1/4 load depending on fullness. Our crew handles all the physical work.
How Many Loads:
Most complete estates take 2-4 loads depending on the house size and accumulation level. Small homes with minimal belongings might be 1-2 loads. Large homes packed with decades of collection might be 4-6 loads.
Online Estimate:
The calculator on our website estimates loads based on property details you enter. The actual volume is determined when our crew sees the property. We load as efficiently as possible to minimize trips.
What’s Included:
All loading, hauling, proper disposal, labor, truck, fuel, and disposal fees. We sweep the areas after cleanout.
Additional Services:
Disassembly is available for an additional fee if structures need to be taken apart. Heavy item surcharges apply to some massive pieces.
What We Don’t Take:
Items still connected to utilities. Hazardous materials. Heavy construction debris. We’re a cleanout service, not a disconnection service, so appliances and utilities need to be already disconnected before we arrive. We’re happy to remove them once they’re ready to go!
Distance Affects Cost:
Your property location impacts pricing. Our system calculates your address automatically.

What Executors and Heirs Need to Know

A: It depends on the property size and level of accumulation. An average 3-bedroom home takes our We-Load crew about 4-8 hours for complete cleanout. Larger properties or heavily packed homes take longer. Most estates finish in one long day or two shorter days.
A: Yes! Same-day service is available if we have openings. Book early for the best availability. We handle deadline situations regularly – title companies, estate sales, court dates. Your timeline drives our scheduling.
A: That’s completely your choice. Many people mark what goes and we take everything that’s marked. Others say “take everything except these rooms” and we do exactly that. If you’re overwhelmed and can’t sort, we can just cleanout everything.
A: We don’t sort during service since we have other appointments scheduled. You’ll need to have documents separated before we arrive, or you can ask us to set aside all paper items for your review later. We’ll text you photos if something looks potentially important.
A: We offer flexible payment options for qualifying customers and orders over a certain dollar amount. If your estate cleanout qualifies, you can book your cleanout now and handle payment when probate funds release or when it works better for your pay schedule.
